Demo v.3.7 released!


Hello everyone,


I have released yet another update to the demo, version 3.7, which will definitely be the last update to version 3. Here are the full patch notes from v.3.6 and 3.7:


v3.6

* replaced the vines in the vertical shaft leading to the upper level of the troll pit with an elevator

* added mid-room checkpoints to the troll pit and the mushroom-filled room past the Outcast

* added a checkpoint in front of the door to the Outcast’s room on the top level of the troll pit

* fixed a typo in Louis’s dialogue

* altered the Outcast’s dialogue to include a hint about returning with a weapon

* made the ant guard’s hint about the Outcast’s weakness as explicit as possible

* lowered the number of mites that could spawn in the Antfort East Tower F2 room from 6 to 5

* changed the appearance of the bombable boulder in the Antfort East Tower F2

* blocked access to the lower level of the Outcast’s room before the boss fight

* adjusted the position of the platform with the honeypot in the Outcast’s room to be easier to access

* added additional movement restrictions to the punching boxes to ensure they don’t get stuck where they shouldn’t

* adjusted the toothworm’s weaknesses

* widened the wood stake platforms on the upper floor in the first cave room

* changed the visual design of the punching boxes to not imply that they explode

* altered the ant enemy behavior to not turn to face the player when struck from behind

* reduced the number of attacks between Antonio’s bull charges

* fixed a visual issue in Antonio’s room

* reduced the visual and aural detection ranges for the ant guards in the stealth areas (for now)

* replaced the Antfort Courtyard gate and added cutscenes for opening each half of the gate

* fixed a bug causing the ants in the Antfort West Tower F2 to get stuck in the wrong animation when defeated


v3.7

* added the sword to the bee’s hand on the title screen

* changed the mushroom color in the selene connecting room

* changed the color, size, and hp of the larger myconids

* added cameras to the first time the eyeballs are struck in the big cave and dining hall 2f

* added a fixed camera angle to the first stealth room in Antfort

* added some additional animations to Selene's dialogue

* fixed a typo in Louis's dialogue

* changed the order of dialogues with the Ant guard to talk about the Outcast second instead of third


Here is a roadmap for versions 4 and 5:

V.4:

* reworking animations and adding strafing and lock-on as well as camera enhancements

* a proper item menu and map screen

* streamlining the opening caves area

V.5:

* adding the Antalya boss fight and ending sequence

* adding a basic options menu
